After the first really successful (if unintentional) launch I have decided to take this project to the next phase
This means getting the permits necessary to make propellant and launch rockets legally, and working on a full rocket that is not just a rocket motor
I am going to need to develop, in no particular order
- A fuselage
- Parachute Ejection System (PET)
- Parachutes
- Nosecone and Fins (3D printed)
- Reproducible Sorbitol Rockets
- Launch Pad
- Altimeter
- Flight Computer (Telemetry)
- Better camera capture systems
- Some other stuff i probably forgot
And I am going to need to get
- Materials for the above
- A place to launch
- Permission to launch
- Permits to launch
- Permits to make, store and use explosives used in construction
This will allow me to legitimize my hobby and make sure everything is by the book and make a fully functional rocket
I will need to figure out funding and quite a lot of other stuff but i have time and great support from awesome people, so it should be fine
If all goes well I can have my first full rocket launch Q1 or Q2 of 2021
