Simulated Weight Test - Denneth's Awesome Website

Simulated Weight Test

The one where I got too exited about how my engines were doing and grossly overestimated how much they could propel

So I wanted to see the power produced by my rocket, but I don’t have a scale (I didn’t at the time of writing), so I tried attaching a 100 g test weight to the rocket

it turns out it was a bit much for it in its current configuration

Results:
It went about 5-10 cm before the nozzle widened enough to lessen the trust below minimum to move the weight
Engine deformed from the weight and heat

Deformed Case (With Saltpeter not removed)
Test Setup (100g)

Further Tests with less weight should be performed, and a scale should be acquired.
